I'll be there for sure! I live like 20 minutes away from the port, my brother and I got our tickets a couple months ago when we saw the first couple shows sell out fast. Look for me, I'll be the only dude there wearing a shirt with a cat climbing the Empire State building like King Kong.

I'm going with my friend!! Coming from Indiana. Recycling is definitely the one I'm most anticipating from the new album. Seeing Daily Routine will be a dream come true though. Or Street Flash (a man can dream)

@Banshee it'd be kickin rad if they added a surprise song to the setlist, especially Street Flash or anything off of water curses. sweet dreams are made of these...
i'm gonna be the guy wearing a big dumb orange hoodie and a Dan Deacon t-shirt. holler if you spot me!
also, newport veterans! how's the setup at the venue? i'm worried about sound a tad and how big the floor is. last ac show i went to was in cleveland and that HOB was cramped as heck.

Newport has an alright venue, the pit has decent space but if you get too crowded you can watch the show from upstairs. Beats the hell out of LC Pavilion's indoor venue

It would only be a crappy phone recording, but I could try if anyone would be interested.

Man, a CA balcony party sounds hella fun, but I'm more than likely going to have to be in the pit!
Also, I won't be professionally recording anything, but my phone will have some vids and pics on it for sure

There are meters on 14th (two blocks north) by a Starbucks. There's also a parking deck a couple blocks south.

The crowd where I was standing was pretty terrible, but the setlist was perfect, their performances were great, and I loved Abby's stage design. And I met Avey afterwards so that was of course pretty awesome.
I didn't have anywhere to set my phone and didn't want to hold it throughout the concert so I didn't record it :/. Hopefully someone else did though!

yeah it was, Gnip Gnop seems like a really great track too! this was my first Ac show, I had a great time and the crowd was really into it. also met Avey after the show, he's incredibly nice, I felt bad bc I was being awkward but it's hard talking to people you admire so I'm cool with it

I had a pretty good time. My first AnCo show. Just wish I would've stuck around to hear the band speak with fans.

Ratking were great, it was weird I heard a lot of people in the crowd hating on them. I thought they totally fit the AC vibe--strange, noisey, melodic samples and heavy beats.
Also I asked avey to play gnip gnop on instagram
also like one of the last songs ratking played had this super cool high pitched descending piano sample--anyone know that song?

dude i fucking loved ratking, came into this thread to ask if anybody fucking loved them? they're sound is dope as hell, loud synths, hard drums, and wiki can rap his ass off. also, i think i know what you're referring to, but idk the name yet, just listened to their album today (it's really good and the title references slaughterhouse 5 i think). 20 DEGREES OUTSIDE. TOASTY IN THE TUNNEL.
