I really want to hear OD and Gnip Gnop right now. Hounds sounded really interesting from last night's show. I won't get to see the tour until May 6th, but imagine what the current setup will be like by then. I just hope they keep Alvin Row on the list.

They alternated each line. Couldn't really make too much of it out. Had a cool intro jam.

No video from me. But recycling is a jam live. One of the standouts by any measure.

Pretty cool they played 9 songs from the record each night, the whole first half of the record on night 1 and the whole second half on night 2

It'll be really interesting to see how fans digest hounds and gnip gnop compared with the rest of PW due to no demoitis possibility with PW compared with hearing these 2 boots before the recorded versions

I feel like at this point the board should pool some money together for a tapping rig and send to members who are going to the shows, Like some BA set up. Just saying, We need more HQ bootlegs in our lives.

Don't want to get everyone's hopes up but there was a woman a couple people away from me who filmed the first 4-5 songs on a DSLR. Don't know if the recordings will ever be shared but I'll be stalking YouTube regardless.

Anyways, this show blew my mind and I couldn't be more excited for Boston now.

Gnip Gnop kinda sounds like Floridada as interpreted by a circus band (minus the chorus). Might have been inspired by this ad with the Perrey and Kingsley music.

Were people expecting My Girls at 3:05?

I've been a mad lurker for so long but - this show just blew me away. The venue was so small and tight. Never thought I'd see them in a place like this.
Gnip Gnop sucked everyone in right away and the whole thing just launched from there. I couldn't wait to hear how they were going to pull off the vocals from PW, but they totally did. So tight and perfectly synchronized. So far my favorites are Recycling, On Delay, and Golden Gal and they all just soared. Pretty sure between Loch Raven, Bees, and Alvin I actually levitated. Or peed. Both fair game.

I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they came to New Hampshire; nobody ever comes to NH! I went back to the gallery today (too much beer. left my credit card at the bar...) and the woman working there said the guys are aiming to play in all 50 states, so they're trying to hit some places they hadn't seen before. Got to chat with Avey and he said similar things, that they were trying to see places they've not been to before... So there's hope for the rest of us that live in back ass places where nobody ever tours.
My videos are wicked short because I just wanted to absorb the moment but if I come across a good one worth sharing, I'll post it here. (Least I could do for all the lurking, right?)

Thank you Maromi!

LITG is the best live jam, that intro could be a 10min remix

Love it!

interesting. i've been a fan since 08 and this is the first tour that i know of where they're going to be playing in my home state (NJ). dunno if they've played here before i was a fan, i'm guessing they prob have, but i wonder if this is the reason that they're playing here now...

Dud - I've heard/read Avey's explanation of Floridada...about everything getting blamed on FLA and the whole "floridaman" thing, but there's something about the lyrics in that song that makes me think of searching for and finding a home when you have the world as your option. Your real estate agent is your tour bus. Where do you want to settle when it's time?
Almost as if to say, I've seen the world, it's all amazing (or perhaps not) but where is home? It's the everywhere place.... Maybe they're rounding out the list now that they've seen so much. Pretty cool concept.
