key to the kingdom and we bid you goodnight were def legit covers, but they seemed kinda like transition-y/quotes instead of fully proper covers maybe? idk this jimmy mack cover seems more significant somehow or more fully realized. they just keep us guessing

Yeah, "we bid you goodnight" is just a tiny part of a song called "a very cellular song" by the incredible string band.

It took a couple listens to get the pattern down in hounds of bairro but I'm really looking forward to that one, it's very cool. I hope that some of the outro is kept on the recorded version.
Also, it was very cool to hear people's reactions when they realized avey wassaying Alvin row over and over, that must've been so amazing to see live, it was exciting enough just watching the video. I'm kicking myself for not getting tickets to this show, last time at union transfer the sound wasn't great so I decided not to bother and I don't know that anything will beat their 2007 philly show for me, but man I wish I would've gone to this.
Also, geo was very entertaining to watch. And I loved avey's smile when people started freaking out for bees. I had a feeling that with all the love that's been going around for Alvin row in the past year especially that they might play it but I didn't seriously think it would happen. Thanks for the video and audio for those who taped.

Actually, both the ISB and GD learned it from the Joseph Spence & the Pindar Family recording on the fantastic "The Real Bahamas" album that, if you haven't heard it, I highly recommend picking one up...it's so choice!
