I'm pissed they didn't even bother to mention 2002's widely acclaimed Marmalade Jam

This album sees the return of Geodude, who was missing on 2010's Millipede Hz.

that review actually got me more excited for the album compared to the kind of amateur-ish praise we'd been getting. not hating tho

The fact that he said the burglars sounded "horrible" kinda tells me that I really don't give a shit what his opinion on anything is.

That review was a bit... violent? Aggressive? I could be wrong, but I feel like the author/writer of that article is letting his personal feelings get in the way of writing a actual album review. Sounds like he's just having a rough day haha

Everyone seems to be focusing on the factual errors (which have been in nearly every review so far), but I guess I'm the only one bothered by him calling the band smug based on what I can only assume are his own insecurities about not "getting" the music. Other than that, I can't even fathom how one would call the band "smug."

"The whole deal is boring as hell: not an accusation you could level at Onwards Toward the Final Victory, which does everything in its power to stir the listener. You expect a military choir to burst in at one point, but the sheer ferocity with which they do knocks you back a bit, as do the lyrics: "by exploding the mental strength of the united heart of our million citizens," it opens, snappily, "Joseon resounds to the marching drums of the powerful, prosperous nation"."
he thinks this dude's music is better than our dudes' music

New interviews with Avey! Much more personal than a lot of the ones that have been posted, but also kind of awkward at times. Especially the introduction, haha.

I love that Face Culture guy! His phrasing and misuse of the English language can be pretty awkward, but I really like that he's not afraid to ask personal questions. Makes for a really engaging interview

Could totally be my phone, but the painting with app isnt functioning for me. It keeps closing out. Are they updating the app perhaps? Im only bringing this up because i highly doubt they made a whole app just for one song.

Couple more interviews in the interviews thread. One with cracked and another with consequence of sound, don't think I've seen them mentioned here

yeah I'm enjoying it too.. classic Avey when he's like 'maybe? you know? I dunno, it's hard to say" and stuff describing Vertical, always make me smile.

Only tangentially related, but I'm killing time before a job interview and Floridada is getting me PUMPED. I can only imagine that if I could be listening to the whole album beforehand that I'd be walking out of there with a six-figure offer.

So many little moments in this make me think Dave is just the absolute best guy. Specially the intro.
