That was my favorite takeaway from this... I'm looking forward to a punchy record, but when I go see them live this year I want to be taken way out there... and it's always fun to hear their different versions of songs.

because it'll definitely be online before the release date, whether it's via a sanctioned stream from the band or a copy that's sold/shipped earlier than the release date or whatever

but i don't think it's going to freebird via promotional copies or any other shenanigans like that, which is surprising

yeah sorry to derail the thread with kanye talk... but this aggression will not stand, man. simply saying that this'll be a rip off of piñata is hilarious, he's been working with madlib for years. sure yeezus probably had some death grips inspiration in there, but it was still very much its own thing. discrediting kanye by saying he just rips off trends (or even one specific album) makes it pretty clear you just want to dislike him. read some articles and listen to some songs then you can talk shit about the closest thing we have left to bowie

A friend was in a meeting that one of AC's management people was at, and overheard the manager talking about something crazy that animal collective are trying to do, and how it posed some logistical problems.
Basically like..

"man these guys are trying to record INSIDE a volcano! I don't know how we're gonna make this happen."

I told my friend that was interesting mostly because the new album isn't out yet and they are going to be touring till september. So nuts that they are already in the planning stages of the next step.

Really not trying to be cryptic/"I know something you don't know", but I just don't want to specifically say it cause it may not happen and it's not my information to release.
