This interview makes me very excited for the live set, especially this bit:

BW: But that's part of the point. It's not supposed to be rehearsed. When our live set starts to feel stale to us, it's because we know how to get from A to B too well, which is why we stopped doing “Fireworks.” We played that song for a long time, and by the end I knew how it was going to go.
NL: I hope what makes it exciting is that sometimes it does fall on its face. Without the the danger, it’s not as interesting.
Maaaaaan, I get what Dave is saying, I'm sure he's in a different place now then when he wrote/sang Banshee Beat. That is literally my favourite song though. I've wanted to hear it live so badly.
I'm calling it, tomorrow all across the country unsuspecting patrons of bagel shops will hear an exclusive stream of bagels in kiev followed by a usb flash drive being cooked into the bagels they are served
I think it's gonna be spilling guts. Anyone who gets gastrointestinal surgery in the greater baltimore area tomorrow will have a copy of the track on a usb drive illegally inserted into their stomachs without their knowledge.

You guys are both wrong. It's gonna be Recycling. Tomorrow in Baltimore, at the bottom of randomly selected public recycling bins there will be puzzle pieces and when the puzzle is completed there will be a QR code that directs you to the Baltimore Department of Public Works, Recycling Home Page where you can hear the song.
What wonderful days. I remember them like another life.
Seeing them play this in 09 in Milwaukee felt so special. They came back for the encore and dave was like, "this one is for our buddy that's missing his girl" and then they played one of the most emotional versions of that song ever.
Today would be a great day to hear the single like right now I'm at home with my kids they have their friends over would be nice to just chill in my room locked myself in and just listen to the single...
it's crazy to think that when you're old like me I'm 44 I mean I wish I'm still the same when I'm 54 or 64 that's crazy how time flies...
I hope the guys Animal Collective guys... I hope I mean how awesome would it be if they're still playing music 30 years from now and I could see them make another album like HCTI when they are 65

I called Waterloo Records in Austin and asked if they had a pre-release copy I could peep w/ staff, and the gal said to check back on Friday. I don't think she understood what I was asking.

im in Austin too so if you hear something, say something
what the fuck is wrong with this album!!!!!! since when is Domino the fort knox of the music world???
when an album freebirds too early it makes me sad, but it's like almost 10 days away and no sign of flinching!
guys there are so few moments left before we have heard this thing, it's so cool. so different than previous eras of "which song aligns to which new title?" "hope they keep the edgy vibe of the blahblah bootlegs in studio version", etc.
granted, there has been a lot of bathroom flac and amazon sample shitposting (some shitpolling from myself), but it's been totally different because it's all been of the same studio version source material. i love the approach they've taken with this release and think this era will be the gift that keep giving.
the greaper was too, even though it's in a different category since there were boots of most of the jams

That just adds to the emotion I already hear in it. Tearing up ;(
Uhhh I will be in Manchester for almost all of Thursday and Friday, away from my laptop Wednesday to Saturday evening. So much potential for this thing to freebird at a truly shit time.
