Just listened and read the lyrics for the first time (which, surprisingly, I had many of them "right"). The album sounds completely different with a narrative. Made it much easier to discern and pick apart each instrument as well. Now I have some new favorites! Duplex Trip tripped me out! I think that's my new jam. Blind Babe is still top of the class. That It Won't Grow is so emotional! Roses on the Window is pop perfection (and maybe a hint at what I'd like to see from a new AC record)! And just when Strange Colores had began to lose it's luster, I'm now fully into this track again! Wish we had official lyrics for the album. Avey should hire SB.

The full vid of Slasher Flix P4k set is such a blessing. Has to be one of the highest-quality video & audio recordings of anything AC-related we have. Too bad it's missing Catchy Was Contagious, but the whole set is still amazing

Had a moment with Catchy. Goes so well with Sesame Street.

Also, I remember the drums being loud as shit when they opened with that track. And Avey's sick boogers. Still made it through the set!

Dave responded very firmly to this question on the old CA. I think it was something along the lines of "because Kristen wanted it that way" and then a nice added "you'll never hear it with lyrics."
