onebrain the ambiance is so cool, then the instrumentation so surprising! You have a great voice; fantastic cover

here's my lablakely dress cover, as I said I used this to finally wrap my head around ableton a bit, and I've also never properly recorded my own voice and it came out a bit more alt-j than I intended but hey, there you go. Hope it's a worthy addition to danCe mAnatee

onebraineno, your cover of in the singing box is so damn good! the drums are huge and the whole production is supersweet. the end-part with the guitar has a totally different vibe than on the record and i think i like your version even better than the one on danse.

knives, that sounded nothing like essplode! i love it!

Hey animals. I wanted to do this cover for the previous deadline but couldn't, so I was glad that you guys decided to extend it. Hope it's not too late, here it is, my naive attempt at Meet the Light Child!:

Hey guys, long time no see. I've failed you as group leader as I still haven't completed my cover, but over the last couple of days I've been working and finally found an idea I can commit to and will be posting up my results soon. I understand everyone else here is busy living there own lives too but I hope everyone who promised there efforts will follow through and show the great people of the CA forums the fruits of their labour. I have extended the date till the first of next month and this will hopefully be enough time for everyone to get their work done. After that what's been submitted will be compiled and released, and whatever songs are left to be completed by the end of this month will have sweded versions made by yours truly to flesh out this project. (so please everyone group together and make sure that doesn't happen :3). If you guys can't make the date then let us know and someone else can takeover your work. If this date isn't going to work for enough people I can push the date back but I hope this will at least be completed by the end of the year.

Not quite finished, but here's what I've got so far. I was mainly just trying to figure out how to get the noise stuff to work without working on the instrumentation, so proper non-stitched together Garageband sequences will be what I'll be working on next.

alright so while trying to figure out how to sing/play/record ahhh good country, my equipment malfunctioned in a really interesting way that got caught in a recording, so I decided to add some effects and work that recording into something interesting... it's very rough and I hadn't really figured everything out yet, but theres something I really liked about the energy on it... I may go back and record a more figured out version, but if not, I will upload a higher quality file of this on my soundcloud and post it here

@hybrination That's pretty good. I liked how at the beginning you kinda changed the melody, which is something I couldn't figure out how to do on mine. It gave it a more acoustic vibe, very nice melodically. As soon as your voice starts there's a weird kind of glitched delay on the left channel, which assuming was part of the malfunction, is really cool that happened.

I will try one of the songs left. Maybe The Living Toys, cause I had some ideas for that one, but if anyone is aiming at that go for it anyway.
