So Sonic said that the band was working with the 'dream team' mixing and mastering. given the little that we know about this album, who would be on your guys' production dream team?

For me it'd be any or all of the dudes from black dice (esp. Eric), as well as four tet. Similar sensibilities, and they all pretty much shit gold

What's everyone think AC's next albums gonna sound like?? I think it'll sound a lot like the PBVGR but with catchier more upbeat hooks with more build and hopefully a return to layered beach boysesque harmonies!

The comment was in response to someone mentioning the Beach Boys playing Pet Sounds next year, so AC are performing Pet Sounds alongside the Beach Boys at Levitation next year? (the emojis he used have me dubious though)

the emojis had me feeling the same way...

maybe, since he said "he's playing" not them, he meant that brian wilson is performing pet sounds and ac are playing the festival too? it'd kind of hard to imagine a pet sounds set happening at fuckin levitation fest, though, as opposed to, say, ACL.

but yeah, the emojis. that would be wild, tho.
