There's something tropical about No Man's Land, especially in the harmonies. Really enjoy the more musical and melodic feel to it, as compared to Popadam. Popadam worked amazingly as an intro, this one works amazingly as the second track.

I love Jabberwocky. Fantastic production, probably the most impressive of the era. It sounds like the second half to G Yeah still. Just the way it starts, it doesn't seem like how a song starts. Maybe its cause I crushed those boots back in 2013 but it's just a feeling I can't get over. Really love the blips at the end.

This is fucking awesome. I think someone should take a shot at making a version of Cosplay that includes the original "Mbube" sample... I feel like it wouldn't be terribly difficult. I could take a shot at it myself, but I'm not as savvy with this stuff as some of y'all.

Also, I guess we could do a version of No Mans Land with Wazzup and 50/50 and add the THX Drone to Cosplay as well...

How do you get separation in the mix? I find when I really start to load shit into my tunes it gets muddy and when I return with fresh ears the salt and pepper bits aren't as discernible...... even though I'm familiar with every dash I put in. still tweaking around so I'm sure I'll learn - but a petek catalyst would be killer.

Thanks for giving us stuff to look forward to for a year and a half or so - 'twas and is...truly bananas and an incomparable experience.

If u use pro tools , say , there are pan width settings u can tweak .
or you
can invoke the antiphase - it throws out 2 extra cones of sound in addition to 2 cones sent out already by the speakers - at a
wider feeling pan ratio that lets you reach in and look around at stuff in a more
3d mode .
If theres stereo in yr mixes , it can be used to expand it . Stereo ex-pandas ......

Thanks m8 you're a wealth of information - could you take a petek peek at one or two and perhaps give some criticism? I feel I'm on the precipice of the next level in my creative journey, would love a dose of reality - also what are the channels for getting sample clearance, I wouldn't expect to make loot from any of my songs just yet but I do sample a lot - and don't wanna get pinched for having some fun....just a kid with a dream that doesn't involve a lawsuit. but I'm hoping to 'release' something sooooooonishesque so your input would be supreme.

I have thought about this a lot today. to me, the back half of PBVSGR is too well-sequenced to fuck with. so here's what I'm doing:

1. Sequential Circuits
2-5. the Mr Noah EP
6. Davy Jones' Locker
7-11. the Crosswords EP
12-20. the rest of PBVSGR

the only thing that feels slightly off is that Cosplay is such a closer. HOWEVER - since it's near the middle, I can think of it as the end of side 1.
