I think all recent release by Avey Tare and Panda Bear point to a more dense noiser sound (if that's even possible)

At first I was disappointed with no Deakin, but it seems we'll have his album soon. Plus, I think there's something special about trios that gives a different dynamic to the music.

Guys so I think I just figured out who's producing this album and I'm kinda freaking out.

so earlier tonight Avey posted a photo on instagram of some tiny elephant statues with the caption "ElephantsInParis". Also, there appeared to be sunlight coming through a window in the photo, even though it was posted in the middle of the night here in the good ol us of a. This leads me to believe that Avey is actually in Paris rn. Which made me remember that Sonic said this album would be their Parisienne Walkways... and that they had the Dream Team taking up production duties. Can anybody think of any dream teams that call Paris home? One that maybe Panda did a guest vocal for back in 2013?

Does Daft Punk even produce albums for other artists? Genuinely asking, don't know. I remember the Peebz saying that they don't really remix songs anymore

they've produced with/for kanye before and some of the songs on ram had about a million tracks so could prob handle busy anco songs (hopefully songs are less busy anyway). tbh would rather it was just the boys producing or them and ppl they already have v good working relationships w/

Honestly though, still think it's just the band that's mixing it. It would be weird to bring in somebody like Daft Punk in this late (mixing and mastering) in the process.
Side note: with how fast this was recorded and mixed, I agree with a lot of you that this will almost surely be more minimal than some of their other work.

Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster.

AnCo are one of my all time favourite bands. I discovered them in 2009 (yep sorry guys, I'm one of them) during my final year of high-school and they pretty much changed my life. The last few AnCo related releases (CHz, Grim Reaper, Slasher Flicks) have admittedly been a bit too messy and loud for my tastes, so I'm hoping for something a little bit more stripped back with the new one. But that said, CHz is still a record that makes me feel really, undeniably happy. AnCo albums give me that feeling which no other band or artist does, which is pure contagious (resisting the urge to say childlike) joy. So if they can keep that up with the new one, I'll be a satisfied customer.

hoping to be wrong, but I'd say just by typical record label bureaucracy alone, it seems unlikely AC will have something til 2016. pbvsgr and the next panda ep AND AC all in 2015? I think not.

of course '07 brought person pullhair rubeye, person pitch, peacebone single, and strawberry jam, but 2015 and 2007 seem like very different times for both AC and the record label industry
