Never heard that remix before. It almost seems too easy or obvious to put the song to that beat, like I feel like I could have made that myself, but that doesn't mean it's not a banger. Oof.

I only thought about it recently, but with all these DJ sets AC's next album will likely be pretty dancey, or more beat-driven

There's a DJ set that's going down in Laval this month but I honestly can't be bothered to drive off island and pay $20 to see Deakin and Geologist play stuff off their computers.

Just got back from the Houston show. Sooo great. I didnt know most of the music that they were mixing but I definitely recognized Pandas voice in some of the songs (probably since he was the only one not there) , and I thought I recognized a Also Frightened sample but no vocals. Well after about an hour I was still riding the rail and Deak signaled for a stage rush. So awesome, I ended up getting my CHz shirt (from a 2012 Austin show) signed by Avey. If they start up another tour with the whole crew I might just have to bail on my plans of following Phish around the country and follow AC instead.

Houston show was awesome! Stage was packed with dancers for most of the set.

I came in the Avey song they've been playing (was it sometimes or slow words?), then played that deakin song. Also played Silver Apples' oscillations and Beatles' within you without you, plus a bunch of bangers I'd never heard. Also made out bits of daily routine in there somewhere

yeah I also went and I got some info.

The whole "DJ tour" thing is so they can finance a tour and album? Something about financing. This year is in fact the year when AC plays new shows, avey said in the fall they'll most likely be touring. Talked to deakin about his album and he said it should be done by June and out by the end of the year. The couple of AC songs they played, Daily Routine and a dubbed out Queen in my Pictures, are actually exclusive deakin remixes for these shows, apparently deak loves to remix old songs of theirs? Geologist is also super skinny now.

I think someone has mentioned that this exists but I just wanted to put this out there. AC remix of Tomorrow Never Knows (https://vimeo.com/114491687)
Makes me very sad that they are not touring anywhere near me. I hope they release these remixes in some form.
