I watched their Columbus show last night, and it was fuckin awesome. I must say its like massively more enjoyable to listen to them live than on studio. When its live you can feel it in your bones, its a much more involved experience than just listening in my room. My only regret is not getting a recording of The Outlaw, because Avey killed it, it was great. Dustin was also pretty damn cool. I had no idea what to expect out of him. It was an all around enjoyable show. When the show was over, I got to talk a bit with Avey, Angel, and Dustin and got Avey's autograph (I wanted to talk to Jeremy but I was too intimidated haha) My mom shook Avey's hand and she tells me he was a weak handshake haha

Has anyone else noticed that album art looks like a skull if you back up and look at it from a distance? .....with the wing on the right outlining the cranium. Maybe I'm a little slow, I just noticed.

Nice job on those covers Clams and Diomedes! Just curious, how confident are you guys on the lyrics? I have a really hard time making them out on my own and Im wondering if its really as hard as I think it is hahah

Just got back from the Nashville show. Avey was definitely sick but still delivered. Watching Jeremy play drums is worth the price of admission. He was in beast mode the entire set! Awesome show.

I feel like I can hear most of Sender pretty clearly, but have to guess a lot of Daze E. I think Clams is using what he got from boots, and different versions are in the lyrics thread. In a recent interview Avey reiterated his own ambivalence toward the importance of lyrics, so it mostly comes down to whatever u hear/want them to be

Show in New Orleans last night was rlly great. Dustin was awesome, and apparently it was his last night touring with them, so during Duplex Trip he came out for the jam section and they jam'd, it was really sweet. And yeah, Jeremey was fucking awesome, prbly my favorite aspect of the show beyond when they were doing their sick, noisy space-out jams..

Like yal were saying Outlaw and Duplex Trip were both rlly sick, and prbly my favorites along with Roses and catchy. Blind Babe was sick too. I loved hearing Angel's singing be a little more prominent

I talked to all 3 of them also... Angel was working the merch and was rlly friendly and cool. She seems so cool... And meeting Avey was a rlly weird experience. He doesn't seem like a real person to me or something so it was so weird to see him off stage... and I was way thrown off by the fact that he was shorter than me/smaller than i pictured...I told him i rlly dug the DT tour songs and he said "you never know," abt a release, but i felt kind of annoying for asking. Seems like he was saying he's less into sequencing/electronic stuff atm.

That's weird cause didnt avey say in his ama that he didn't think there was any plans to release the visuals? Or maybe he just meant they wouldn't be making a dvd or anything. Still pretty cool.

good lord I'm in love with ETSH. It took me a while to find my bearings with CHz, but I liked this one the second I started listening. First my favorites were Blind Babe and Strange Colores, but after seeing them live I've become obsessed with Outlaw and Catchy. Modern Days E is great too.

..really I like the whole album. it's a little weird not having a song I dislike. wooo slasher flicks! more tour dates please!
