Thanks for the update mr. boom. Boy's Latin is a really neat, albeit unexpected title for that jam.

No . But he always dug the name he told me ....
It has a 'pig latin' sort of vibe that i think hits the spot.

Morning !
Phew! ..... You are a demanding & hungry Panda pad posse these days....
Hmmm.....
Say ....
Did we figure that 'day' is Garage , and 'dark clouds'
is Boy's Latin ?? Tho those titles r sick too......i like 'vacuum' the best...

....And yes ....mixing is finito/finis//fechado/finshed/in finland etc
.....Mr Noah has a genius for making the improbable out of the unlikely.......mixing is like herding frogs .... A lot of fun....but strategies are needed .....sonic acrostics ...
......all yr dates & desires hav been programmed into the mix 'n' match magic mainframe ....... For every action an equal reaction....... people are scratching tiny grooves into the internet , and pressing up computers & waveformthings , as we speak ...moore's law be damned.....

Bbut dates are funny things ......squishy . But ultimately sweet .....
Hope its sweetness & bright out yr ways

something's misspelled i think but 'at least this time/ i will dance this time. he plays atari,' but um.... ya

well i guess if all the dates and our desires have alrdy been programed into the mix n' match magic mainframe, there's only one thing left to do

haha maybe. halloween would make sense.

I was thinking SB meant squishy like the actual release date is still kind of flexible at this point and maybe not 100% determined, and that either way when it does come out it will be sweet!

That's what I was thinking too, but I began to consider that perhaps that too is a code. pK says the darnedest things

lets discuss bets on tracklist/track order

i'd be surprised if the finished product doesnt look like this:

1. fill those spaces
2. garage
3. boy's latin
4. faces in the crowd/jabbawaqy
5. sequential circuits
6. butcher, baker, candlestick maker
7. come to your senses
8. tropic of cancer
9. down below
10. 'til i die
11. principe real

maybe it has triple eye after boy's latin instead of 'til i die, but idk this tracklist makes so much sense to me

Tropic of Cancer is the only track that I associate grim reaper imagery with... so while it's more of a ballad and not a traditional opener, I feel like it would set the tone well, if "Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper" is in fact the title.

Granted, I say this without having seen any of his new material live.

grim reaper is not only associated with death, though. Or at least not death in a conventional way. I think Noah has said it has more to do with the dying of life phases and eras, just constant change which is a form of death (something like that, correct me if im wrong).

wait, which song is "butcher, baker, candlestick maker"?

i also feel like i could see fill those spaces ending the album before i could see it opening it but that might just be bc it closed the main set of the recent shows.

So Excited!!

I wonder, what is Noah currently listening to?? I've read somewhere that he's the one dude who brings the newest stuff to the table. in 2012 he said that he likes Todd Terje. If you know something, Sonic please let us know (old or new stuff)

PS
Don't forget about those 2 High Fidelity recordings of the ATP, Sonic, tell Noah if you can share 'em with us & good luck with the album. Don't know how could you go wrong with it, tho

I wont forget re: prehearsal ATP jams . And i know time has taken a rain-check

a gazillion moments taking it to the next level .... Not to negate the working drawings tho..
These things have a habit of turning up gift style . Ribboned & everything , too .

I was wondering what was up with constantly referring to him as Mr. Noah hahaha that's amazing. Do you know the story behind that title, Pete? I'm imagining Noah moonlighting as a kindergarten teacher or something

domino has been doing a bonus 7" with some recent deluxe editions, maybe a couple tracks will pop up there. they've also been doing advanced 7"s separately so maybe that's a possibility too.

nice catch. that would be perfect if they released the leftover tracks with a deluxe edition.
